Our Mission
#BEARaSMILE Campaign – We deliver Gund Bears to children in hospitals and facilities across the globe. With over 9,000 bears delivered in 48 states and 4 countries, every donation directly provides a bear hug and a smile. There are no administrative costs—100% of your support goes to the mission. Want to get involved? You can even help deliver bears in your own community.
Strong Kids Book Series – A collection of empowering stories that build grit, confidence, compassion, and resilience in children. These books are shared in schools, hospitals, and programs to inspire the next generation.
Why We Do It
Founded by firefighter, veteran, and Ironman athlete Robert “Fireman Rob” Verhelst, the Foundation is built on the belief that even small acts of kindness can change lives.
Together, we can spread smiles, inspire courage, and remind every child they are not alone.

The Fireman Rob Foundation is not a certified 501c3, yet is run by the Verhelst Success Network LLC. The Verhelst Success Network LLC covers any fees or shipping costs to make sure every dollar donated by donors goes to getting as many bears as possible delivered to children.
